If an immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004.
She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22'.
It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month. This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.
Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!
Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all beticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470..
Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.
Please forward to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing over the past 11 years - to the over-taxed American.

Know what?. In Spain is happening the same things, specially along the last four years and a half. That bastard called Zapatero, widely known in the world to get our troops out of Irak just when they were needed the most, is giving the inmigrants (moors, ecuatorians and rumanians) more rights and benefits than to his fellow citizens. And the conundrum is in the fact that ... he is being reelected in the polls!. We, the taxpayers, are being robbed everyday by the spanish IRS, in a spanish way of "Obama's wealth redistribution", but .. we're doing nothing!. Canvasses show big popular support for this lousy moron. I don't understand anything, and now I see the USA has fallen in the same stupidity.
My aunt sent me an email of this just this morning, asking me if it was true (my aunt always asks me this before she sends stuff out to her HUGE email list).
It's not true.

(you will need to copy and paste the above together in the address bar: the address didn't fit the column width format, and I didn't tinyurl the address)
This letter started out as a misunderstanding of a Canadian plan in a Canadian newspaper (it was a one-time payment to Somali refugees ...at a guess, I'd say from Darfur: and we are all aware of the genocide [still] being practiced by the Islamic [terrorist] government of Somali against natives in the Darfur region, right?).
Some Canadian wrote an email to the editor (using the below facts and figures) that was published by the Canadian paper.
Later, someone else changed "Canada" to "America".
I did note that this story is all over the place, though this blog was currently the top of the Google heap (and the Snopes link in google is buried so deep I never did find it: I had to go to the Snopes website, and search the site locally).
I can see why: it would be pretty inflammatory. Well, t'were it true.
...and so it goes ...another urban myth (according to Snopes).
I have no idea what either immigrants nor SS recipients receive in comparitive benefits in the US currently though. (Too complicated to search it out, and too busy this morning.)
